 Preconditions / Evaluation

In order to achieve the award of the Greenpeace brand, a product has to meet high ecological requirements. The main point for the environmentalism organization was the material used for the production of the fusiotherm® pipe system fusiolen® PP-R(80).
To this, the basic material polypropylene, as well as the included additives (colour pigments and stabilizers) have been tested by independent laboratories with reference to their environmental compatibility.
Greenpeace gets the results that fusiotherm® does not only meet the highest ecological standards, but is also future-orientated.
The ecological advantages of fusiotherm®-pipes are:

 | PVC free
| | the additive share of the material fusiolen® PP-R(80)) is below 3 %
| | free from health problematic heavy metals
| | long-lived
| | recycle able |
